Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. I hope you enjoy browsing and discovering what our school has to offer. We are incredibly proud of our children and endeavor to create the nurturing school community they deserve, where children excel in their achievements and are inspired to grow and reach their full potential.
We provide a welcoming, cheerful and stimulating place of learning. Our broad and balanced curriculum is designed to encourage independence and curiosity as well as challenging children to strive for academic, creative, sporting and personal accomplishment. The Curriculum is delivered through a variety of approaches which enables our children to become resilient and self-assured in an environment where safety is paramount, developing lively and enquiring minds to prepare each child to meet the challenges of their future.
We have an open and inviting school and continually work hard to develop strong links and working relationships between home, school, partner schools and the local community. Together we aim to promote respectful attitudes and actively encourage all stake holders to have a voice in our school.

Young Achievers Awards Night

In a highly successful half term for us at Wessington; where our amazing children and staffs hard work have already led to us achieving the Inclusion Quality Mark; receiving a silver award for our Rights Respecting ethos and being awarded the gold standard for our anti-bullying work… More recently our anti-bullying team were recognised by the Young Achievers Service as being the best in

In an extremely busy couple of weeks before half term, where we were also awarded the Silver Rights Respecting award… We were hugely proud to be awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark!!  “The Inclusion Quality Mark provides schools with a nationally recognised framework to guide their inclusion journey. Inclusion promotes equal opportunities for all pupils, whatever their age, gender, ethnicity, attainment and background.
